Comparative evaluation of the impact of feeding live yeast and sodium bicarbonate to high-yielding cows on their productivity and milk quality

High productivity of dairy cows is due to genetics, especially during the first phase lactation and manifested by appropriate feeding, namely a significant amount concentrates in their diet. However, such feeding has disadvantage – lowering pH rumen development acidosis. In order prevent this pathological process, various buffer supplements are introduced into diet cows, including live yeast baking soda. Therefore, aim study was experimentally evaluate effect sodium bicarbonate Levucell SC on milk quality lactation. During scientific economic experiment, main period which lasted 76 days, animals control group received basic without feed additives. Cows 2nd experimental were added 1 g/head/day, 3rd at dose 150 g/head/day. According results it noted that highest recorded (41.9 kg/day), while figure 37.3 kg/day. Changes 39.8 kg / day positive. A similar trend occurred fat content milk, somatic cell bacterial contamination. all these indicators, best group, consumed yeast. Economic analysis experiment showed despite very high cost additive SC, small its introduction more profitable than use bicarbonate.
